Biddeford has much to be proud of...

Biddeford High School graduates play important role in Black and White integration.

In 1967, 5 Biddeford High School seniors made history and started on the Edward Waters College Football Squad in Jacksonville, Florida.... an all Black College. The only white students on campus.... EVER!!!!

Edward Waters College (EWC) is, distinctively, Florida's oldest independent institution of higher learning as well as the state's first institution established for the education of African Americans.

The students/players from Biddeford High School in Maine were recently recognized (October 2013) at a homecoming game at Edward Waters College.
